About
I lead complex products from ambiguity to decisions people can act on.

The name
I'm Micro_.sd on Instagram since 2017.
I love the idea that big changes start small — probably because I'm a very tiny person who thinks big. The name stuck long before the portfolio existed, and it still describes how I work: pay attention to the small decisions, and the whole system starts to move.
"The Micro UX Project" is that same instinct, applied on purpose: small, deliberate design decisions, written down so other people can build on them.
© Désirée S.How I think
My work sits between three disciplines: UX research, business analysis, and product design. I don't think of them as separate hats — they're the same job, seen from three angles.
I'm most useful early, when a product is still ambiguous. I decompose the problem, understand the business it lives in, and hold the system view while the team works on individual pieces. When decisions get hard, I prefer evidence and constraints to opinions.
I try to write and speak plainly. Buzzwords tend to hide the parts of the problem I actually care about.
Off screen
Outside the studio I spend time in the mountains, on the water, mostly in a climbing gym and occasionally in a boxing gym. Long runs are where I think through problems that won't sit still at a desk.
None of this is a metaphor for how I work. It's just where the rest of me lives.
